EDMONTON, AB – As the topic of climate change grows increasingly paramount in the world and especially our province, the Alberta Emerald Foundation acts as Alberta’s environmental good-news storyteller, connecting environmental leaders and providing a voice to share positive examples to inspire others. The 28th Annual Emerald Awards will recognize and celebrate environmental excellence across all sectors in Alberta. A third-party panel of knowledgeable judges has selected three finalists per category, ranging everywhere from government to business to education, one of which will be named the category recipient. The Emerald Awards ceremony will be joined by host Lauren Hunter of SONiC 102.9 Radio.
