Event Check-in Attendant (34th Annual Emerald Awards)
Volunteer for the 34th Annual Emerald Awards and help celebrate environmental excellence across Alberta!
When: Thursday, June 5, 2025 (Minimum two hours of volunteer commitment – 4:30 – 6:30 pm)
Where: Timms Centre for the Arts 87 Avenue, 112 St NW, Edmonton, AB, T6G 2C9
About the Emerald Awards:
The Emerald Awards showcase organizations, projects, and individuals across Alberta working to address environmental and climate change issues.
Since 1992, the Emerald Awards have showcased nearly 400 recipients and 900 finalists who are raising the bar in addressing environmental and climate change issues. These environmental awards are the only program in Canada to recognize environmental excellence across a diverse range of sectors.
About the Volunteer Role:
- Assist Emerald Award guests in checking into the awards ceremony:
- Record their attendance using Google Sheets
- Provide them with their nametag and drink ticket
- Assist with other event needs as they arise
Time Commitment:
- Option 1: 4:30 – 6:30 pm (2 hours)
- Option 2: 4:30 – 10:00 pm (5.5 hours)
