Nominations

Do you know an individual, group or business that has set an example for environmental achievement? Someone who has gone "above and beyond" what is expected of them in the protection of the environment? Maybe it's you, your group or your business. Why not share that success and let others learn from your experience by submitting an Emerald Award nomination?

There are several award categories, including some for individuals, not-for-profits, the public sector and businesses. No doubt someone you know is deserving of a nomination for an Emerald Award. Take a look and decide which category your nominee fits in.

Important dates to remember:

  • Wednesday, June 15, 2011 -  20th Annual Emerald Awards presented at the Citadel Theatre in Edmonton
  • 4 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2012 - close of nominations
  • June 2012 -  21st Annual Emerald Awards presented in Calgary
    • November 2011 - nominations will open for the 21st Annual Emerald Awards
